Insulating for Comfort and Efficiency
For this van conversion, we used high-quality insulation to regulate temperature and reduce noise. In the photo below, you can see the insulated interior before adding walls and flooring, providing a solid foundation for the transformation.
Essential Systems for a Fully Functional Salon
A mobile nail salon needs reliable systems to run smoothly anywhere. We installed everything necessary to ensure comfort, efficiency, and independence from external power sources.
Solar Power and Battery Setup
To keep everything running, we mounted four 200W solar panels on the roof. They charge two 200Ah batteries, storing enough power for daily use. A 3000W inverter converts energy to 110V, providing electricity for salon equipment.
Plumbing and Water Supply
A fresh water tank with a pump delivers clean water for washing and sanitation. The system includes a black water tank with a drainage system for easy waste management. This setup ensures a hassle-free experience on the go.
Electrical and Climate Control Solutions
We added three 110V outlets for powering salon tools and devices. The van features air conditioning to maintain a comfortable temperature inside. A monitoring dashboard helps track tank levels and power usage at all times.
Interior Design – Creating a Stylish and Practical Space
A mobile nail salon should be both functional and inviting. We carefully selected materials and design elements to create a comfortable and professional workspace.
Flooring, Walls, and Ceiling Materials
For durability and easy maintenance, we installed vinyl panel flooring with built-in storage on the wheel arches. The walls and ceiling are made of plywood, laminated in white for a clean, modern look. Black vinyl panels on the doors add a stylish contrast.
Storage Solutions
Every inch of space matters, so we designed smart storage solutions. A wardrobe with an integrated electrical system provides space for tools and essentials.
Lighting
Good lighting is crucial for precision work. We installed LED ceiling lights to provide bright, even illumination throughout the salon. This ensures a well-lit, professional setting for both the technician and clients.
