After completing the interior renovation, our team transported the vintage Airstream to the client’s office property, where it was permanently positioned as a stationary private lounge. Our goal was to make the Airstream fully functional for everyday use, with reliable electrical power, running water, and a practical wastewater solution.
Electrical Power Connection
We ran a dedicated electrical supply from the property’s electrical panel to the Airstream, providing power for the air conditioning system, interior lighting, electrical outlets, and appliances.
Fresh Water Connection
We connected the Airstream to the property’s existing water supply, allowing the sinks and toilet to operate with a continuous water connection, just like in a traditional building.
Custom 50-Gallon Wastewater Holding Tank
One of the main challenges was the absence of a nearby sewer connection. To solve this problem, we installed an additional 50-gallon wastewater holding tank underneath the Airstream. The system was designed to allow a professional pump-out service to empty the tank when needed, eliminating the need for a direct connection to the property’s sewer system.
This solution made it possible to use the Airstream as a stationary lounge with a functional restroom and running water.
