Mercedes Benz Sprinter Conversion

This Mercedes-Benz Sprinter came to us as an empty cargo van – and we turned it into a fully equipped camper, ready for adventure.

The Process of Converting a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter

We installed four new windows to open up the space and bring in natural light. Inside, we added waterproof flooring and built a custom ceiling with integrated LED lighting.

For comfortable living, we equipped the van with essential systems:

  • Water & Drainage: A full plumbing setup with an 18-gallon fresh water tank, 18-gallon gray water tank, water pump, propane water heater, and rear shower box.
  • Climate Control & Power: 12V air conditioning, roof vent with fan, and a solar system for off-grid energy.
  • Utility Connections: City water inlet and 110V shore power outlet on the driver’s side, plus a dedicated storage pipe for the drain hose.

A spare wheel was mounted on the rear door for safety and convenience on the road.

Interior of Mercedes Benz Sprinter

We installed a compact kitchen with a fridge, microwave with air fryer, a cabinet with sink, durable countertop, and two tables. A swivel passenger seat adds flexibility to the space. For extra storage, we added upper cabinets above the bench seating with built-in lighting underneath.

The van includes a pop-up bed for extra sleeping space and two sofas with a convertible table that transforms into a second bed. The custom ceiling design with integrated LED lighting adds a stylish and cozy atmosphere to the interior.
