Remodeling an RV Interior: Fleetwood Quest 3500

The owner contacted Custom Way for remodeling an RV interior in this Fleetwood Quest 3500. In this project we will take you through the full transformation of this Class C RV. You will see detailed before-renovation photos and videos, along with the final result after the remodel. Keep reading to explore how the interior changed from dark and outdated to bright, modern, and much more inviting.

Fleetwood Quest 3500 Interior Before Renovation

Like many older Class C RVs, it offered a practical layout, comfortable living space, and easy handling on the road. However, the interior already looked outdated. Dark wood cabinets visually reduced the space, while the tile-pattern linoleum had several patches and no longer felt cozy. The sofa upholstery also showed visible wear. Overall, the RV stayed clean and well-maintained, but the owner wanted a brighter, fresher, and more modern interior.

Updated Cabinets, Flooring, Shades, Sofa and Dinette

One of the main goals of this renovation was to make the interior feel brighter, cleaner, and more open. To achieve this, our team at Custom Way updated the entire living area using modern light-gray tones and durable materials that work perfectly for everyday RV use.

For this project, we completed several major interior upgrades:

  • painted the cabinets in a soft light-gray shade
  • installed new gray sofa and dinette seating
  • added darker gray shades for contrast and depth
  • replaced the old flooring with durable vinyl flooring

The new sofa and dinette upholstery matches the cabinets beautifully while adding a slightly deeper gray tone to the space. We also replaced one of the sofas with a functional dinette located in the slide-out area, creating a comfortable place for dining, relaxing, or working on the road. In addition, the new vinyl flooring gives the RV a cleaner and more modern look while offering excellent durability. Thanks to these upgrades, the interior will stay fresh and inviting for years to come.

Bathroom Renovation and Interior Details

The updated bathroom deserves special attention in this Fleetwood Quest 3500. This RV already had a spacious bathroom layout with a toilet, shower cabin, separate sink, and mirrored storage cabinet. However, the previous design made the space feel smaller and darker.

To create a lighter atmosphere, we repainted the cabinets in the same soft gray shade used in the living area and added new shades along with brighter decorative details. At the same time, we kept the original sink and faucets, which still fit the refreshed interior perfectly.
