HOW WE CUSTOMIZED A MERCEDES CAMPER VAN

The Mercedes Sprinter Van is a great choice for a road trip. It offers excellent fuel efficiency and reliable and durable performance. Additionally, it is much easier to drive and maneuver than a huge travel trailer. So today we want to tell you about one of our favorite projects – Sprinter Camper Van renovation.

We have an exciting case: our challenge was to transform a minivan into a convenient and homelike campervan. Here’s what we did:

Firstly, we focused on the exterior. We installed a roof rack, side steps, ladder, and new lights.  We organized a shore power connection. Also, we equipped the minivan with a drain valve and RV city water inlet to make it easy to fill the tank. We added a screen door to the entrance.

Also, we worked on the interior.

We prioritized comfort, ergonomics, and easy maintenance to ensure a livable space on wheels. We used every centimeter of the van’s interior to achieve this by constructing the carcass with aluminum profiles and sandwich panels. Then, we installed seats and other furniture, compact tables, a small but multifunctional kitchen, a shower, and a toilet.

Lastly, we equipped the campervan with all the necessary facilities for a fulfilling RV lifestyle, including an outdoor shower, a water tank, USBs, outlets, heaters, and AC.
