RV Slide-Out Floor Repair

Slide-out floors can vary in height from the main RV floor, so it’s important to take this into consideration when replacing the flooring and choosing furniture or decorating the interior. Recently we had a project to replace the floor in this type of RV and we want to share with you the result of our work.

First of all, we agreed with the client on the result we are striving for.
Together we chose the color and material of the floor covering.
Carefully removed the old carpet flooring.
Prepared the subfloor: Installed new subflooring in the area where the slide-out will be located, making sure that the subfloor was level and securely attached to the RV’s frame.
Installed the new plywood flooring, leaving a gap around the slide-out mechanism to allow for movement.
Tested the slide out to ensure that it operates smoothly and securely.
Finished the project completing the finishing touches.
